The Austrian Ministry for Traffic and Science commissioned the artemedia to create this CD-Rom in
1998. Due to the European Union most of the international road haulage is conducted through Austria.
As a consequence the highways are jammed all the time. To solve the problem the Austrian Ministry for
Traffic and Science instructed the construction of new railroad lines. Just before they were finished
the union for nature protection and landscape conservation anticipated the construction of 4 new
tunnels.
As a reaction the Austrian Ministry for Traffic and Science originated a countrywide media
advertising campaign to educate the population about the problem.
The CD-Rom is directed to the younger Generation. It was a give away with one of the most popular
computer magazines.
Young people were supposed to play for information. Once accessed these hidden pieces a virtual traffic
jam slowly dissolved. At the end the young gamer could drive easily and free.
